It creates a consistent temperature environment while helping prevent freezer burn, making it ideal for seafood displays, fish markets, supermarkets, fresh food counters, food preparation and commercial hospitality applications.

    Premium Hoshizaki Flake Ice

The FM-120KE-HC produces high-quality commercial flake ice with a light, soft texture that provides excellent contact with the product being chilled. The ice cools quickly and evenly and can be easily spread, shaped and layered around fresh food.

This makes Hoshizaki flake ice particularly suited to applications where both temperature control and product presentation are important.

Ideal for Seafood & Fresh Food Displays

The soft, mouldable nature of flake ice makes it ideal for creating attractive chilled displays. It can be layered around fresh fish, seafood, oysters and other temperature-sensitive foods, providing effective cooling while helping maintain an appealing presentation.

Flake ice is particularly useful for fish markets, seafood retailers, supermarkets and fresh food counters where ice needs to be easily shaped and replenished throughout service.

    High-Volume Ice Production

Ice production varies according to ambient air and incoming water temperatures:

    10°C Air / 10°C Water Approx. 125kg / 24 Hours
    21°C Air / 15°C Water Approx. 105kg / 24 Hours
    32°C Air / 21°C Water Approx. 82kg / 24 Hours

    Integrated 26kg Ice Storage

As a self-contained flake ice machine, the FM-120KE-HC combines ice production and storage within a single unit. The integrated storage bin provides approximately 26kg maximum storage capacity, with a bin control setting of approximately 21kg.

This eliminates the need to purchase a separate ice storage bin and provides a convenient all-in-one solution for commercial operations.

    Hygienic Closed Water Circuit

The closed water circuit helps protect the ice-making process against contamination. Hoshizaki's automated water circuit rinse cycle also helps prevent mineral build-up within the hydraulic system while supporting high hygiene standards and easier ongoing maintenance.

    Designed for Long-Term Commercial Operation

The FM-120KE-HC uses carbon graphite bushings instead of conventional ball bearings, allowing grease-free operation. Its design reduces moving components to help minimise wear and tear, while water-lubricated bearings assist in preventing calcification and bacterial contamination.

A worktime-based component replacement system can be monitored through the machine's control display, helping operators plan preventative maintenance and support dependable long-term operation.

    Compact 640mm Wide Design

Measuring just 640mm wide x 600mm deep x 800mm high, the FM-120KE-HC delivers substantial commercial ice production from a compact footprint. This makes it particularly suitable for kitchens, preparation areas and fresh food operations where available floor space is limited.

    R290 Natural Refrigerant

The FM-120KE-HC uses R290 natural refrigerant, helping reduce environmental impact while supporting efficient commercial ice production.

    Plug & Play Installation

The self-contained design provides a straightforward installation solution, combining the ice maker and storage bin into one compact unit. The machine operates from a 220-240V single-phase 10A power supply and includes an installation kit and scoop.
